As a mobile service, travel logistics and availability are carefully managed to maintain quality and reliability. Standard service includes travel within our current local service radius, with extended-distance requests subject to a travel surcharge that’s always disclosed in advance, before a technician is dispatched.

Our solar and electrical work isn’t theory. Scott lives full-time on his own RV power system: 6,000W of rooftop solar feeding a 48V lithium battery bank and dual Victron Quattro 5000 inverter/chargers — the same professional component stack we install for customers. Every design decision we recommend has been tested where it matters most: in daily life on the road.
For complex builds, we partner with RV Solar Consulting, an independent solar design firm whose principal has more than 300 documented system designs. That partnership brings dedicated design expertise to every major installation, from sizing the array and battery bank to integrating shore, generator, and solar charging.

Before founding Live Free Mobile RV, Scott spent over 15 years leading IT infrastructure and operations for enterprise organizations. That background in precision, reliability, and process optimization carries directly into every service call. When he’s not turning wrenches or wiring solar systems, you’ll find him exploring the next great boondocking spot with his family.
